Caminero Keeps Hitting, Even When the Power Naps
Junior Caminero has a hit in 15 consecutive games going back to August 17. The stretch is more impressive for what it survived: Tampa Bay's 22-year-old went 15 games without a home run in August, ended that on August 29, and never stopped stinging singles and doubles through the whole drought. He's at 36 homers on the season, and the contact never left even when the ball stopped leaving the yard.
He's expected to see right-hander Justin Hagenman at 6:40 PM ET.

Boston Moved Him Up. He Still Hasn't Scored.
Ceddanne Rafaela hasn't crossed home plate in 11 straight games, and this isn't a playing-time story: he's started 112 of Boston's 121 games this year and moved into the third spot in the order for the first time this season. A center fielder batting third who hasn't scored a run in nearly two weeks is exactly the kind of split that survives a lineup change, because the lineup already changed and the run column didn't move.
Seattle sends right-hander Bryce Miller, and Rafaela's Under 0.5 Runs sits at -165 for a 4:10 PM ET first pitch.

The All-Star Who Cannot Find Home Plate
Ernie Clement made his first All-Star team this summer, and he hasn't scored a run in 11 straight games. Widen it and he's stayed Under 0.5 Runs in 16 of his last 19. Clement is hitting .277 with a .301 on-base percentage across 133 games, which is the tell: the singles arrive, the free passes don't, and singles alone need help to turn into runs.

Same game, opposite direction. Alejandro Kirk has a hit in 4 straight and has cleared Over 0.5 Hits in 16 of his last 18. Two Blue Jays, one lineup, and the same underlying fact: this team keeps putting the ball in play. One of those trends pays on the hit, the other pays on what never follows it.

Riley Hasn't Driven In a Run Since August 26
Austin Riley has gone 5 straight games without an RBI, and he's stayed Under 0.5 RBI in 19 of his last 22. Check the game log and the drought is real rather than a rest-day mirage: he's played through it, with a single RBI on August 26 and two on August 20 standing as his only run production in his last 12 games. He's at .225 with 15 home runs and 58 RBI on the year, a season that has never quite arrived.
